Aladdin the Broadway musical

Six of us decided back ind Denmark, that we would like to see a broadway show, so we bought six trickets to Aladdin for today at 7 pm.

We left the hotel at 5.30 pm. and went to Grand Central Station, where we took the subway to Times Square. Luckily the Theater right beside the Subway, so it was easy for us to loacte it.

We then collected our tickets and waited outside for the doors to open, and when they did we were all amazed to see, how beautifull the Theater was. We went upstairs to find our seats and found out we had the perfect seats, they were in the perfect hight, and was located right in the middle.

Then the show began, and we can honestly say that it was amazing. The acters were great, and they had a good sense of humour throughout the entite play. Even though we all knew the story, they managed to suprise us with jokes, references and new characters. For example were Jafars parrot Jagu not a parrot, but a little, funny, human sidekick, and Aladins monkey Abu, became three men, who were friends with Aladin. But even though they changed some things, and came with new songs, was it amazing.

But the best thing about the whole play was the dancing scenes. They were so fantastic and yet so simple. Their choreography became extremely beautiful, just by using colourful scarfs and clothes and moving their hands. Also the technic were astonishing, especially in the flying carpet scene, where they made the most amazing sky filled with stars, and a magic carpet that really looked like it was flying.

When the show was over, we went back to our hotel. On the way we decided to buy a pizza. We then bought two 18” pizzas, and went back to the hotel to eat them together. And that was the end of our last evening in New York.
